Your submission limit increases when a previous submission is in-scope (i.e. rank of 3, 4, or 5). You may also provide an additional submission if we provide more information in the form of a lead.
You have the opportunity to increase your submission limit as you improve the quality of your submissions. Some good ways to improve your quality include:
- Read every aspect of the Study Description, especially the patent claims. By understanding the Study technology, you will be better able to identify high-quality prior art.
- Correctly complete your citations for your submissions. If you do not cite the proper page, claim, figure or line for your reference, the reference may be Declined.
- Focus on Non- Patent Literature. NPL is the most valuable type of prior art, leading to a stronger in-scope percentage and an accompanying increase in your submission limit.
