Nice to see this post. My observation - researchers in China have in the past 5 years published a lot of journals on bat coronaviruses. Yes, 'coronaviruses' because there are many types. Below is an excerpt from one of the abstracts:
"In the last 15 years, bats have been found to be hosts of >30 CoVs with complete genomes sequenced, and many more if those without genome sequences are included."
And another one (along with US & CH researchers) titled "SARS-like cluster of circulating bat coronavirus pose threat for human emergence". How bold is that!
And another one mentioning "These events indicate that a SARS epidemic may recur at any time in the future, either by the virus escaping from laboratory samples or by SARS-CoV isolates evolving from SARS-CoV–like virus in animal hosts."
Yet, bats seen in flesh market in different parts of China. There is no one to blame but this could have been avoided. A strong message to the administration was needed. Nevertheless, we will fight it together and I will do everything I can for this study. 100 submissions should be allowed for all. Let us dig out everything we can.

IPTornado, I definitely agree that they should allow 100 submissions so that we can find as many weapons as needed to fight the virus.

How can we see the studies of other researchers?
You only see the studies of the other researchers if the status of your submission is designated a duplicate.
I guess we must work systematically here...We must work hand in hand...
I am glad that they lifted the limit to 25 so that we can work continuously on the pandemic like surgeons in the operating room only take periodic breaks for coffee.

A new clinical study which came out on Friday (March 27th) reports on a case which lasted 49 days instead of a couple of weeks suggesting that the virus may have mutated, see: https://www.medrxiv.org/content/10.1101/2020.03.22.20040071v1.full.pdf
The Archives of Medical Research just expedited an online pre-publication copy of disturbing findings by researchers at the University of Tehran on "Inappropriate Antibiotic Consumption as a Possible Cause of Inflammatory Storm and Septic Shock in Patients Diagnosed with Coronavirus-19 Disease."
This study's findings are clear warning to those who protectively take antibiotics in the absence bacterial infection, but more importantly point to the need to closely monitor inflammatory activity when antibiotics are administered to patients with virus-induced sepsis and patients with COVID-19 related septic shock. We are looking at so many studies. I wanted to share this particular study because it disturbingly points out how a routine treatment for the virus' effects could in fact escalate death.

Too bad this study did not include statistical models for contact tracing...
It looks like this study has helped everyone raise their NPL percentage, which is why it would have been difficult to pick the researchers for the recent 2 private studies. I didn't get them, wondering what would be NPL percentage of those who got them. Good competition indeed.

The U.S. President is closely following the advice of Directors from the NIH and CDC and those Directors wisely let data speak for itself. The results of this study just came out. David, as you probably already know, it takes about 3 days before new study findings are vetted by federal analytic teams to elevate to executive briefing materials for the CDC Director or President's press kit.
